Jack Vander Leeuw brings over 18 years of experience in lower middle market M&A, spanning investment banking, corporate development, private equity, and private credit. Across roles at BB&T Capital Markets (now Truist Capital Markets), Gladstone Investment Corporation, Neustar, Inc., and most recently as a Managing Director at Capitala Group, Jack has executed 42 closed transactions representing more than $2.7 billion in aggregate enterprise value. His work has covered the full deal lifecycle, from origination and underwriting through structuring, negotiation, board oversight, value creation, and exit, with deep expertise across control buyouts, unitranche and subordinated debt, structured junior capital, and minority equity co-investments. Jack earned a BS/BA in Business Management from Georgetown University and lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and two daughters.
