Built by a Working VC
Investor Match was created by Martin Tobias, Managing Partner of Incisive Ventures. Martin has made 75+ pre-seed investments over the last five years and was an early investor in DocuSign. Before becoming a full-time investor he was a venture-backed founder and CEO himself, so he has sat on both sides of the pitch table.
Martin also hosts Round Numbers, a podcast where founders share the real numbers behind their raises — how many investors they pitched, how many meetings it took, and what actually closed the round. Those same benchmarks power the free VC Data Lab on this site.
He built Investor Match as a give-back to the founder community: the investor research that founders with strong VC networks get for free, made available to everyone.
