Mia von Koschitzky-Kimani is passionate about helping African startups realize their potential, and leverages precise strategic acumen mixed with a healthy dose of empathy. She learned that both are essential to a company’s success as an operator, VC, angel investor, and entrepreneur who co-founded and navigated her own startup through an exit. Born in Germany, Mia attended Harvard Business School before moving to Africa in 2009 and adopting the continent as her own. After helping start the Johannesburg and Nairobi offices at the Boston Consulting Group, she co-founded the startup DukaConnect in the retail and AI space, which was exited to Mastercard. Prior to joining Future Africa, Mia was a Partner at climate focused early stage VC Persistent Energy Capital and an active angel investor.

Iyinoluwa ‘E’ Aboyeji is passionate about building a future where prosperity and purpose are within reach for all Africans. Iyin founded and scaled several category-defining technology businesses in Africa, including two of the continent’s first startup Unicorns: Flutterwave and Andela. While he was CEO at Flutterwave, he led the company to become one of the fastest-growing payments technology businesses of all time, processing over $2 billion across over 50 million transactions with annual revenues of millions of dollars a year. Before that, he co-founded Andela, Africa's largest engineering organization with over 1000 software engineers. For both companies, he raised millions in funding from the world’s top investors. E was named 30 under 30 in Enterprise Technology by Forbes and 100 Most Influential Africans by New Africa.
