Jerry started AME Cloud Ventures with the belief that data, cloud, and hardware advances will create unprecedented opportunities for great companies to be built. Jerry enjoys meeting and learning from entrepreneurs with big ideas and deep tech. Jerry co-founded Yahoo! in 1995 and served on its Board and as a member of its executive team until 2012. Jerry was instrumental in building Yahoo!’s relationships with Yahoo! Japan and Alibaba and continues to be a thought leader in China and Asia. Jerry currently sits on Board of Directors for Workday and Alibaba.

Nick joined AME Cloud Ventures in 2012. A techie at heart, he loves geeking out in all forms of automation, machine learning, and software defined infrastructure both in and out of the office. Prior to AME, Nick spent five years in China and India, where he lead business development for Cloud Valley and founded two startups. Nick earned his Masters in Engineering from Imperial College. Nick is taking a step back from investing in new companies in 2020 but remains part of the AME team as Venture Partner.

Jeff joined AME Cloud Ventures in 2013. Jeff is passionate about empowering big thinkers and frontier technologies. From manufacturing and biology to infrastructure and consumer experiences (including food!), Jeff believes in a world where data and machine intelligence transform every aspect of life. Prior to AME, Jeff invested in growth stage tech companies at Silver Lake. Jeff earned his BS from UC Berkeley and MBA from Harvard. Jeff currently sits on the Board for Savioke, which deploys autonomous service robots.

Wretch joined AME Cloud Ventures in 2014. Wretch is excited about white space innovators and companies that are in large markets with no established competitors such as aerospace, intelligent robotics, and next-gen medical devices. Prior to AME, Wretch created wretch.cc, the first and biggest blogging website in Taiwan. He built and led the team serving 6 billion page views per month before selling the company to Yahoo!. Wretch earned his MBA from Stanford.
