Co-founder & Partner
Meg Vorland is Managing Partner at Dcode Capital and co-founder of Dcode, where she serves as the CRO, overseeing sales, strategy, and expansion into new markets. As part of the founding team, Meg brings a strong focus on business leadership and growth. Meg's experience at tech startups has shaped Dcode's accelerator, and she has been working in the federal technology space for most of her career. Meg played softball for the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has an MBA from Darden School of Business, and served in the Obama Administration as a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). In 2021, Washington Business Journal recognized Meg as a 40 Under 40 winner.
Rebecca Gevalt is Managing Partner at Dcode Capital. Previously as Dcode’s tech Managing Director, Rebecca built and operated the stage-agnostic accelerator program, scaling venture-backed tech into the federal market. She also launched Dcode’s government business to teach government stakeholders how to find and contract with nontraditional tech companies. Prior to Dcode, Rebecca worked at the CIA for more than a decade, and for some of those years, she worked with In-Q-Tel to bring novel tech startups into the national security space. She holds a BS from Tulane University.
Meagan Metzger is Managing Partner at Dcode Capital and the founder and CEO of Dcode. Previously, Meagan worked as COO of a government-focused mobile and cloud company, growing it 200% in its first two years. Meagan was also previously CSO at a government-facing IT consultancy and established it as one of the fastest-growing small businesses on Washington Technology’s Fast 50 for three years in a row. Meagan has worked closely in several roles with senior leadership across DoD and civilian agencies, using her expertise in federal IT acquisitions to execute a billion-dollar IT program. She earned a BBA from George Washington University, where she was an NCAA gymnast.
