Francesco is a ETH Engineer and digital Entrepreneur who has worked in Switzerland, Sweden, Brazil, South Africa, Kenya and the United States. He has been a mentor at TechStars, Angelhack, Masschallenge, The Hult prize among several other startup acceleration and incubation programs around the world. He started his career as a software engineer in Sao Paolo before going on to co-found washmypants.com and Myinsurance- a swiss startup providing mobile-first micro insurance solutions. He was also a Co-founder of crypto-mining facility in Switzerland based on renewable energy sources (Acquired by Petawatt Group in 2018). He has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and robotics from ETH Zurich, master’s in business from Hult International Business School and a diploma Big Data from Stanford University. He is fluent in 6 different languages and enjoys working and investing in emerging markets. Francesco is also responsible for the technical and software engineering aspects of our vetting process.

Olu began his career in commercial banking with Guaranty Trust Bank in Nigeria, later working as a consultant at Forrester, advising some of the world’s leading technology companies on products and processes, and as a relationship manager at Silicon Valley Bank, where he supported technology startups across all verticals in accessing debt, equity and mezzanine products. Olu holds an MBA from Hult International Business School in Boston, with a concentration in finance and strategy. His experience is spread across credit risk, technology valuation and venture capital. He is very passionate about financial technology, two-sided networks, and connectivity, having made and managed investments in several high-growth startups in Sub-Saharan Africa including Paystack, MVX, and Tizeti.

She is passionate about supporting and enabling the growth of innovative African startups to bring their visions to life. Her skills in buy-side and sell-side transaction support, financial modeling, financial analysis and evaluation, and storytelling have helped her facilitate fundraising and provide advisory services to both startups and VC Funds.

Saeed leads the full investment cycle from sourcing and evaluation to execution and post-investment support. He manages portfolio companies by providing strategic and operational guidance, oversees fund administration, LP reporting, and conducts sector research to refine investment theses. Saeed also plays a key role in managing investor relations and driving the development of Oui Capital’s investment team. He brings over six years of private equity and venture capital experience, with a track record of executing transactions exceeding a cumulative $200 million across sectors such as manufacturing, technology, and renewable energy. Prior to Oui Capital, he co-founded Hadi Finance, a tech-enabled inventory financing platform supporting informal traders in Africa, and held investment roles at EchoVC, Sahel Capital, and Verod Capital. He is skilled in financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and fundraising. Saeed holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry with Chemical Engineering from the University of Huddersfield.
