Abel is an Investment Director at Novastar Ventures East Africa Advisors Limited, Nairobi. He started his career in 2011 as a Credit Research Analyst at Bloomberg L.P. in the US and later launched Sarora Dairies in Kenya. Abel joined Novastar in June 2019.

Dieko is an Investment Associate at Novastar West Africa Limited. She began her career at Uber, supported Moove’s market expansion, and served as Technical Advisor to the CEO at MoMo PSB. She holds a BSc in Economics and International Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Brian is a Partner at Novastar Ventures West Africa Limited, Lagos. He co-founded Zamsolar and was COO at Livelyhoods. He joined Novastar in January 2015 and now heads up the team in Lagos.

Dominic is an Investment Director at Novastar Ventures Limited, London. He worked in corporate finance for EY and an NGO in Uganda before joining Novastar in 2019. He is a Chartered Accountant with a BA in History and Politics from the University of Nottingham.

Steve is Co-founder & Managing Partner at Novastar Ventures Limited, London. He has been investing in African start-ups since 2009 and co-founded Novastar’s first fund. He previously led global consulting businesses and Geneva Global, a philanthropic investment bank.

Sapna is a Partner at Novastar Ventures East Africa Advisors Limited, Nairobi. She started her career in international banking and later joined Acumen as an investor. She co-founded a food start-up and joined Novastar in 2015. Sapna graduated from the London School of Economics.

Andrew is Co-founder & Managing Partner at Novastar Ventures Limited, London. He began investing in start-ups in 1996 and launched his first fund on the London Stock Exchange in 1999. He co-founded Novastar’s first fund in 2014 with Steve Beck.

Dayo is an Investment Analyst at Novastar Ventures West Africa Limited, Lagos. He has 12 years of experience, including five years supporting entrepreneurs in the Middle East, Pakistan, and Africa. He holds a BSc in Statistics and an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University.
