Previously Managing Director for Europe at Joyance Partners, where he led 25 investments across 9 countries and built a team of 8. Started his career at Cisco in Silicon Valley and later led business development across EMEAR and APAC. Graduated Summa Cum Laude in Engineering in Turin and received an Executive MBA from London Business School.

Experienced CEO and Chairman. Active angel investor who has chaired and sat on the boards of numerous high-growth UK start-ups, including co-founding and chairing Tandem Bank, and serving as Chairman for ClearlySo Ltd and IGF Invoice Finance Ltd. In addition to co-founding Exceptional Ventures, which he chairs, he is currently Chairman of Octopus Capital and Cudoni, and sits on the boards of VouchedFor and Restless. He was part of the founding team of CapitalOne Bank in the US and founded and ran CapitalOne Bank (Europe) Plc.
