Meet the Team
Nick Stoker
Managing Partner
Nick Stoker joined Skyview in the spring of 2017. Prior to joining Skyview, he served as SREC Manager at SunEdison and TerraForm Power, where he oversaw SREC operations, portfolio management, and trading for hundreds of distributed generation and utility-scale solar projects in more than a dozen active SREC markets. Prior to joining SunEdison, Mr. Stoker worked in solar project finance and development. He has also worked for an environmental industrial design firm and conducted field research on a biofuel project in western Kenya. Mr. Stoker graduated with honors from Brown University with an AB in Sustainable Technology and Development.
Jacques Pouhe
Managing Partner
Jacques Pouhe joined Skyview in January 2021 where he is a Senior Trader on the Environmental Attributes Team. Mr. Pouhe began his career trading Mortgage-Backed Securities and Securitized Products Repurchase Agreements at Lehman Brothers and then Barclays Capital from 2003 through early 2011. Prior to Skyview, Mr. Pouhe was most recently a partner at Karbone Inc, an environmental markets finance & advisory firm where he focused on renewable energy commodities transactions and market analysis. Mr. Pouhe graduated from Yale University with a BA in Economics.

Timothy O'Donnell
Principal
Tim O'Donnell joined Skyview in October of 2012 as general counsel. He is an attorney with over twenty years of experience representing companies, lenders, and institutional investors in development, finance, and capital markets transactions. He works closely with banks, investors, and sponsors to develop innovative financing structures for complex transactions. Prior to Skyview, Mr. O'Donnell was an attorney at two New York law firms and an in-house attorney at an integrated real estate development firm.
Ronnie Black
Partner
Ronnie Black is a Partner at Skyview Ventures. As an accomplished professional with over twenty years of expertise in environmental, carbon, commodity, and financial markets, Ronnie guides institutions on how to implement and achieve their renewable energy and decarbonization goals. Excelling in clean energy sales, origination, structuring, and risk mitigation, Ronnie’s market acumen and thought leadership are beneficial in assisting Skyview’s growing client base. Prior to joining Skyview, Mr. Black served as Head of Advisory and Co-Head of Environmental Markets at Marex, where he was instrumental in building one of the world’s largest clean energy platforms and executed over $30 billion in environmental attribute transactions. Previous experience includes sales and trading positions at Flett Exchange, First New York Securities, and Credit Suisse. Mr. Black holds his BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
Wallace "Mac" Kyle, Jr.
Principal
Mac Kyle joined Skyview in 2022 with more than 8 years of experience in financial services and investing, working with private equity, hedge fund, and wealth management entities. Most recently, he received his MBA from the UVA Darden School of Business while working for UVA-alumni Angel investor network, CAV Angels, performing diligence for their sustainability-focused deal flow. After a summer at Calvert ESG Investment Management and Research, Mac focused on building his network in the startup space, developing a Rolodex that has been influential in Skyview’s deal flow and diligence. Prior to business school, he was the Assistant Controller of the Wealth Management practice at Allen & Co. and a CPA at Ernst & Young. Mac earned his BSBA from the University of Richmond with concentrations in Accounting and Finance.
Matt Coleman
Principal
Matt Coleman joined Skyview in February 2016 and brings over fifteen years of expertise in renewable energy via project development and finance, corporate investment, and technology development. Mr. Coleman was most recently EVP of Business Development at Clean Focus, where he led the company’s commercial and utility solar power project development and acquisition. Prior to Clean Focus, Mr. Coleman co-founded and managed one of the first renewable energy sector hedge funds in the United States. He also helped launch two different concentrating solar firms, Soliant Energy and Hyperlight Energy, and developed and financed a variety of distributed generation technologies for RealEnergy. Mr. Coleman earned an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and a BA in Environmental Science from Johns Hopkins University.
Andy Karetsky founded Skyview Ventures in 2008. Prior to Skyview, Mr. Karetsky spent 2005 to 2008 as a private investor. Investment themes included the electronification of the stock markets, tolling, renewable energy, and resource independence. From 1997 until 2005, Mr. Karetsky was a partner at Camelot Capital, a long-short technology hedge fund. His responsibilities included portfolio risk management and overseeing trading and operations. Camelot grew from $70mm under management to $1.3b at its height. Camelot has had outstanding returns in both good and bad markets. Mr. Karetsky has a BA from Johns Hopkins University.
